Xfinity is rolling out a mix of in-store experiences and limited-time entertainment perks to coincide with the upcoming release of Illumination’s Minions & Monsters, giving customers in Snohomish County new ways to engage with one of the summer’s biggest movie launches.

From June 15 through July 5, Xfinity retail stores across the country are being transformed into interactive spaces inspired by the film. Visitors can explore augmented reality experiences featuring Minions characters, take part in photo opportunities and browse themed displays designed to bring the movie to life.

The promotion is part of a broader effort by Comcast NBCUniversal to combine entertainment and connectivity, offering customers a more immersive retail experience while showcasing Xfinity products and services.

For residents in Snohomish County, the experience is close to home. Comcast operates Xfinity Retail stores in Lynnwood, Everett, and Lake Stevens, providing customers with convenient access to Minions-themed activations and support for internet, mobile, and streaming services.

Inside each store, visitors can interact with displays and learn how to quickly set up home internet. Demonstrations include Same-Day WiFi, which allows customers to sign up, pick up equipment, and begin streaming within hours using a simple plug-and-play setup.

The goal is to create a visit that is both fun and informative, especially for families looking for local activities tied to the film’s release.

Xfinity is also extending the experience beyond the store. Eligible customers can access a range of limited-time offers connected to Minions & Monsters, which opens in theaters July 1.

These offers include early access to movie screenings through Fandango, chances to win VIP screening experiences in select markets, and $5 Fandango Movie Cash available for a limited time while supplies last.

Additional themed content, collectibles, and interactive experiences are available through the Xfinity app, which serves as the hub for accessing rewards and tracking available offers.

Xfinity membership is automatically included for eligible customers at no additional cost and provides ongoing access to perks, discounts, and exclusive experiences throughout the year.

Benefits can include weekly entertainment offers such as discounted movie rentals, giveaways, and special merchandise, as well as savings on mobile and streaming services. The program also includes tiered levels based on tenure and number of services, with higher tiers unlocking added rewards and premium experiences.

With Minions & Monsters arriving in theaters July 1, the promotion is designed to give Snohomish County residents more ways to connect with the film. A visit to an Xfinity store in Lynnwood, Everett, or Lake Stevens can double as both a family-friendly outing and an opportunity to explore new technology or upgrade service.

By combining in-store activities with digital rewards and movie partnerships, Comcast is aiming to make it easier for customers to stay connected while enjoying a shared entertainment experience this summer.
