Summer will be here before you know it, and parents in Snohomish County are already booking their children’s summer camps. Getting in early will ensure your place. Some camps offer discounts for early enrollment. Most fill up quickly, so be sure to book soon, especially if you need them for childcare.
No matter what your child is interested in, you are sure to find the perfect camp for summer fun. Sports, arts and crafts, science, academics, nature, water play, performing arts, special needs, religious, cooking, and even video games are just some of the wide varieties of camps you will find offered to kids around the area.
There are dozens of summer camps to choose from in Snohomish County. This is not by any means an exhaustive list, but it’ll get you started on your research.
YMCA Camps
Find exciting YMCA Mini Camps in Marysville, Mill Creek, Monroe, Mukilteo. Half-day mini-camps are for the littles, ages 3-5. The cost varies by location, from $190–$240 for five days, with discounts for YMCA members and financial aid. Registration opens in March, with weekly sessions running from late June through August.
The YMCA offers fun weekly themes such as animal adventures, gooey fun with science experiments, under the sea, farm animals, dinosaurs and more.
YMCA Summer Camps are also available in Everett, Marysville, Mill Creek, Monroe, Mukilteo and Stanwood.
Age group categories are youth in grades 1-5 and teens in grades 6-12. Camps run weekly from late June through the end of August. Prices and camps vary by location, but generally are around $220 $320 per week, with member discounts and financial aid available.
YMCA camps offer a large range of activities for every age range from 3-18. Kids can choose from traditional camps with instruction on nature and animals, swimming, arts, crafts, group play, games and sports. Teens have the option of overnight camps, leadership roles, and education.
Summer Camps With the Boys & Girls Clubs
Boys & Girls Clubs Summer Camps are available in multiple locations across Snohomish County.
Kids will love camps for Kindergarten through grade 6, with some locations offering Teen Camp for middle school-aged children. Sessions are offered weekly from late June through August. Full-day schedules are roughly $150 to $300, depending on location and the number of days enrolled. These programs are known to be the most budget-friendly option of all summer camps.
Theme weeks are introduced later with games, arts and crafts, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), and lots of outdoor play.
Forest Lover’s Summer Camp
Forest & Nature Preschool Camps PNWK (Pacific Northwest Kids) Forest School are found in Lake Stevens, Bothell and Snohomish
PNWK offers half-day camps for kids ages 2.5-6 and 4-10. Choose the morning or afternoon sessions from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. All class options and tuition can be found under the Snohomish County Summer heading here.
This is a great camp to get kids out in nature during the lovely summer months, as the camp is completely outdoors. Kids learn to identify plants and animals, navigation skills, fort building, and nature science.
Farm Camp
Enchanted Farms in Duvall offers kids ages 7-13 a one-week daily camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $625. This farmyard summer camp, where kids get to play with alpacas, donkeys, goats, sheep, and rabbits, is offered multiple weeks throughout the summer. They’ll participate in lots of farm-based crafts and outdoor games.
Arts and Crafts Camps
Find a creative summer camp for ages 4-10 at Creative & Art Studio Camps in Snohomish, Mill Creek and Bothell.
Weekly sessions focus on teaching new approaches to art with paint, clay, sculpture, and collage. Monday to Friday costs $345 for half days in the mornings or afternoons, and $75 per half day.
Creative & Art Studio Tweens Summer Camp ages 10-16. There are two themed tween sessions available from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Summer of ’26 a Movie Makers Studio from July 13 to July 17, is $345. Popstar Glow Camp from August 24 to August 28 is $345
Sports Camp
Sporty kids will love Nike Soccer Camp at Snohomish Sports Dome for ages 7-12. Half-day and full-day camps are available, ranging from $229 for a half-day to $399 for a full day per three-day session.
The Nike Soccer Camp gives solid instruction, grouping children together by age and ability to strengthen their stamina and soccer skills, by running drills and games.
Outdoor Adventure Camps
Camp Killoqua in the Stanwood area offers camps for all ages starting at age 3, with both day camp and overnight camp options across multiple weeks from late June through mid-August. The day camp offers weekly sessions that typically cost around $465–$505. The overnight camp one-week and mini-week sessions cost roughly $1,000+, depending on session length.
This legacy camp has been around since 1941 and continues going strong, forging friendship bonds and lifetime memories of water sports, campfires, archery, climbing, and outdoor stewardship set on 185 acres of forest and waterfront property.
Overnight Camps in Snohomish County
YMCA Overnight Camp at Camp Snohomish and Camp Casey program provides two nights for grades 1 –3, four nights for grades 2 – 9, and five nights for grade 10. Twelve-night sessions are available for counselors in training for campers entering grade 11. Sessions run from July through August. Prices depend on the type of lodging and session length, but run from several hundred dollars to over a thousand.
For an epic and traditional cabin camping experience, campers learn autonomy, taking care of their own spaces, water sports, campfires, and games.
