Holiday cheer is coming to Monroe for four days of the Holiday Spark at the Evergreen State Fair Park. We hope you’ll join us for this festive event for the community to come together and celebrate the holiday season.
“The fair park hosts hundreds of events throughout the year and is a vibrant place for the community to gather year-round, not just the 11 days of the fair,” said Mike Ohlsen, Evergreen State Fair Park Manager. “We are excited to open up the fairgrounds for people to have fun, support local businesses, and spread some holiday cheer!”
Holiday Happenings
- Holiday Bazaar hosted by The Evergreen Fair Foundation
- Entertainment: Dicken’s Carolers, Costume Characters, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, live music and more
- Danny Vernon’s Illusion of Elvis – December 4 at 6:30 p.m.
- A Cookie Walk with Santa, free to participate
- Bingo with prizes and free to play
- Food for purchase at Purple Cow, Pioneer Popcorn, Scotsman Espresso, Fischer Scones and includes crepes, soups, burgers, chicken fingers, fries, coffee and other hot drinks
- In the Longhouse: Skykomish Valley Indian Education will provide a cultural holiday craft, a photo backdrop and will be selling frybread with toppings
- Wine and beer garden with special Holiday Spark drinks
- Pony rides ($10 per person and 80 lb. weight limit)
- Frosty’s Adventure Alley ($5 per child): Bouncy houses, games, snowball fights
- Activities and story time in the Western Heritage Museum
- Outdoor firepits and s’more roasting tents (s’more kits available for purchase)
- Winter Walk with inflatables and floor curling
- Snow on the hour
- Cold weather clothing and food drive benefitting the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition
Three festive themed igloos are available for rent!
Enjoy a private space to play a game, hang out with friends and family, and enjoy a treat or meal from one of our food vendors. Each igloo can fit 6 people comfortably. Igloo rental includes 1 VIP parking pass, decorations, games and activities. Outside food and activities are allowed. No alcohol is allowed outside of the designated beer/wine garden. Admission: There is no admission for this event, but some activities will cost extra.
Parking: $5 parking available on the grounds.

Since 1949, the 193-acre Fair Park has been home to the Evergreen State Fair which attract hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Several permanent facilities including the Gary D. Weikel Events Center, the Evergreen Speedway, the Evergreen Equestrian Park, two RV campgrounds and other exhibition spaces are used year-round for horse shows, trade shows, swap meets, auto races and more.
