Eat

Come hungry, as Swans Trail Farm has added several new eateries to satisfy the cravings of farmers of all ages. Celebrate the season with freshly squeezed strawberry lemonade served up in icy glasses or satisfy your sweet tooth with strawberry shortcake from the Apple Shack. Enjoy a hearty lunch of loaded tots, pizza, hot dogs, or pulled pork sandwiches at the Tractor Café.Unwind with Boat Beer or Apple Cobbler Cider at the charming family-friendly Swan Trail Farm Cidery. Refuel for more farm fun at several picnic spots located throughout the farm.

Bring the camera for the most charming of photo ops with adorable baby animals. Cuddle up to puppies, kittens, chicks and bunnies. Enjoy holding any of these fuzzy babies. Or head to the animal viewing area and visit mini ponies Spicey and Shortcake, or donkeys Dilly and Pickles. Watch Mama Bertha feed and care for her spunky piglets or visit Mama lamb Clover and her baby boy Lucky. After visiting these fuzzy main attractions, head over for berry picking or more fun-on-the-farm attractions.

Do

Take a short stroll down Strawberry Trail or hop on a tractor ride to the strawberry fields, which feature a variety of seasonal u-pick strawberries. If sticky fingers aren’t in your plans for the day, freshly picked strawberries are available for sale at the Farm Store, which features a variety of farm-fresh delights, including jam, pickles, and adorable, giftable items.   Refuel with an iced latte and let the kids jump, wander, climb and play to their heart’s delight in the play area. An impressive number of activities, including a massive jump pad, slides, and a rope course, will have the kids worn out by lunchtime. Kids will love getting lost in the hay maze, climbing the giant hay pyramid, or sinking their toes into the corn kernels in the corn house. With so many activities to choose from, you may need to book more than one day of farm fun to do them all.

Once strawberry season winds down, look forward to more seasonal farm fun at Swans Trail Farm. In summer, it’s all about berry picking and warm-weather delights. Welcome the fall harvest season with u-pick pumpkins and apples. Swans Trail Farm brings all the old-fashioned delights of pumpkin spice season. Take a stroll through the pumpkin patch, sip on cider and pumpkin spice lattes, hop on a hayride, or find your way out of the famous Washington State corn maze. Don’t forget to grab an apple cider doughnut on your way home.

Plan your unique company picnic at Swan Trail Farms. Attractions include beloved favorites such as the hay maze, wagon rides, cow train, and more. Farmyard Education

Aspiring farmers can sign up for Farmer Camp and learn all about pollination, harvesting, composting and more. Fun-filled themed days and an open barn Friday to show off new farming skills round out the week.   Sign up your homeschooler for a farmer talk on a number of interesting topics. Learn about small and large farm animals, bees and pollination, the pumpkin lifecycle and sustainable farming.
