Slather on some sunscreen and dig out the coolers! Summer is here in the Pacific Northwest, and with it come patriotic 4th of July celebrations. This Independence Day, Snohomish County is the place to enjoy family-friendly parades, festivals and fireworks.

Arlington Hometown July 4th Celebration
Celebrate all day long in Arlington, starting with a pancake breakfast at Haller Park from 8 to 11 a.m. Burn off the pancakes with the Freedom 5 K Color Run at Haller Park at 10 a.m. Then, head over to Legion Park at noon for the Lifeway Hometown Carnival, which will run until 4 p.m. Kids will love the bouncy houses, face painting, balloon animals, giant bubbles, games, and more.
At 4:30 p.m., enjoy the Kiddies Parade at 4:30 p.m. on Olympic Avenue. The Grand Parade is at 5 p.m. Continue the fun with the Great Stilly Duck Dash at Haller Park at 7 p.m. And for the grand finale, Quake Park is the place to see the fireworks display, which starts at 10 p.m.
Everett’s July Fourth Festivities
Everett’s Fourth of July fun includes a parade in downtown Everett, starting at Colby/25th and proceeding to Wall, then returning on Wetmore. After the parade, head to Legion Memorial for live music, adult beverages, food trucks, and kid-friendly entertainment.
Stick around for the main event with Everett’s iconic Thunder on the Bay fireworks show over the Snohomish River and Port Gardner Bay. Tune into the soundtrack by listening on your radio to KXA FM 101.1 or AM 1520.

An Edmonds Kind of 4th
Start the 4th of July with a healthy activity with a 5K & 1K Family Run at 9:30 a.m. in downtown Edmonds. Presented by Peoples Bank, be sure to dress in your patriotic finest! Wear festive red, white, and blue attire for a chance to win the costume contest with prizes before the race. Register online here.
Afterward, don’t miss the Children’s Parade at 11:30 a.m. and stick around for the Main Parade at noon.
Annual Fourth of July Waterfront Party Hotel Indigo Everett Waterfront
Join Hotel Indigo for their annual Fourth of July Waterfront Party! From 5 to 10 p.m., eat classic cookout BBQ, drinks, games and live music by Groove Nation. Then, head to the pier to enjoy the fabulous fireworks display. Buy your tickets here.

Bothel’s Fourth of July Parade & Pancake Breakfast
Bothel is full of fun with its annual Fourth of July Parade & Pancake Breakfast. Eat your fill of pancakes and enjoy fire engine tours at Bothell Fire Department’s Annual Pancake Breakfast, beginning at 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. at Park at Bothell Landing. Then, head to the corner of 104th Ave NE and Main Street for the free-to-participate Children’s Parade. Check-in ends at 11 a.m., with the parade starting at 11:15 a.m. Stick around for the Grande Parade starting at noon and see fabulous floats, marching bands, cool classic cars, and more at this fun event.
Angel of the Winds USA Birthday Bash
Evergreen Speedway is where you can celebrate fast cars, fireworks and more on July 4 at the Angel of the Winds USA Birthday Bash. The gates open at 2 p.m., with the opening ceremonies starting at 6 p.m. Scheduled to Race are Hornets, Mini Bump To Pass, Stinger 8s, Youth Hornets, Boats, Buses, Mr Dizzy Stunt, Demo Derby and the grande finale, fireworks!
