Lobster and salmon and shrimp, oh my! They say it’s better down where it’s wetter, and while we mere two-legged, gill-less, unfortunate souls can’t possibly hold our breath long enough to personally vouch for the underwater party scene, it does seem pretty undeniable that the ocean is indeed a siren song. From the cool embrace of its waves on a hot day to the thrill of windsurfing while skimming across the water’s surface, building sandcastles that rise like miniature fortresses to the relaxation felt by unwinding while seaside and soaking up the sun, there’s no denying the allure of the ocean’s bounty, and that includes the seafood too!

Luckily for residents of Snohomish County, this endless bounty can be enjoyed right here at home, both in the water and on your plate, all thanks to our region’s renowned seafood restaurants transforming the freshest catches into culinary delights! Oh my, indeed.

Arnies Restaurant Edmonds

300 Admiral Way, Edmonds
425.771.5688

Washington State University graduates Peter Challman and Robert Peterson launched Arnies Restaurant in 1979, fulfilling their vision for a Pacific Northwest steak and seafood haven with a cozy atmosphere in Mukilteo. Arnies’ Mukilteo success led to an Edmonds opening in 1981. This larger location, overlooking the Olympic Peninsula ferry, mirrored Mukilteo’s menu and price range while providing patrons with panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains and beautiful Puget Sound. Over time, Arnies’ menus embraced its Pacific Northwest roots, offering new items like calamari and oysters. Consistently delicious seafood, stunning views by the water, and warm service cemented Arnies’ legacy as a family, friend, and business favorite seafood restaurant in Snohomish. Sadly, the Mukilteo location is no longer in operation, but the Arnies Restaurant Edmonds continues this local legacy.
