Subbmited by Ingeborg Lodge
Join the Ingeborg Lodge for a Nordic Fair on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., at Stillaguamish Grange Hall, 6521 Pioneer Highway, Stanwood, WA (Stanwood Camano Fairgrounds). The Grange is easy to drive to, and there will be plenty of free parking. There is no admittance fee to enjoy the Nordic Fair.
The annual event is filled with talented vendors offering handmade Nordic crafts, traditional Scandinavian baked goods, books, art, history and a snapshot into the Scandinavian culture. All day, there will be a Lefse-making demonstration, plus taste samples will be available.
A hand-made quilt crafted by a member of our lodge will be offered as a raffle prize (proceeds benefit our local scholarship fund).
Lunch will be provided by Fritjov, Stanwood Sons of Norway Lodge; Autumn Harvest soup, roll, and pumpkin pie will be available. In keeping with our tradition of Velkommen, coffee, tea and water will be available, along with plenty of space to sit and catch up with your neighbors or make new friends.
We at Ingeborg Lodge look forward to having you join us at this event on Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as we celebrate our yearly tradition of sharing our Nordic heritage with the community.
