Proudly presented by the Tulalip Resort and Casino is the 90th annual Marysville Strawberry Festival, right downtown. Celebrate with a fantastic market, carnival, delicious food, live music, and of course, strawberries. Have a blast at the Funtastic Carnival, beginning on Thursday, June 16, to Sunday, June 19, at Marysville Middle School. Spin around on the wild carnival rides and play some fun arcade games for a chance to win fantastic fair prizes. Carnival hours are weather permitting, expected to operate from 4 – 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, noon – 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, and 1 p.m. until the end of the fun on Sunday, June 19. Don’t miss this year’s carnival, bringing the Strawberry Festival to life.

Run or walk for charity at the Berry Run, taking place Saturday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m. All proceeds go towards the Children’s Hospital Strong Against Cancer, Lakewood Education Foundation and the Lakewood Sports Booster Club. Register online and support a fantastic cause at this year’s Berry Run. Make time for the fabulous fashion show, featuring “model citizens strutting to raise funds for student scholarships and showing off the latest summer fashions.” Check online to learn more about this meaningful cause and to get tickets to the show and luncheon.

Market in the Park

Spend some time shopping at the wonderful Market in the Park at Asbery Field, featuring creative local crafts and commercial vendors. Score an incredible deal with handmade items you won’t find anywhere else. Stop at a bite to eat at one of the many mouth-watering food vendors, making sure your appetite is taken care of too. Rock out at the festival this year with incredible live entertainment — sure to keep you dancing and having the time of your life. Performances will take place live on stage from June 17 – 19 in the festival market at Asbery Field, located at 4th Street and Alder Avenue. Twilight Grand Parade

Be sure to save time for the dazzling 90th annual Twilight Grand Parade held on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Closing off a fabulous week of festivities, the Grand Parade is a show-stopping staple you don’t want to miss. Kick back and enjoy the dazzling display of floats and performers. “Watch a flotilla of more than 100 colorful floats, marching bands, bagpipers, drill teams, clowns, pirates and other entries add to the merrymaking revelry.” There’s still time to sign up to participate in the Grand Parade for those interested. The parade kicks off at 76th Street Northeast, down State Avenue, venturing east onto Third Street and wrapping up at Alder Avenue.
